Product Description
The Magewell Pro Capture Dual SDI 4K Plus is a dual-channel 4K SDI PCIe capture card with a PCIe Gen2 x8 host interface. It features eight HD-BNC inputs compatible with SD, HD, 3G, 6G and 12G-SDI signals, and supports Single Link, Dual Link and Quad Link input modes for capture resolutions up to 4096x2160. Two independent video processing pipelines, each with approximately 720 Mpixels/s of bandwidth and full 10-bit processing, deliver hardware de-interlacing, cropping, scaling, aspect-ratio conversion, color-space conversion, frame-rate conversion and OSD overlay. An integrated cable equalizer extends SDI signal reach — up to 330m for SD-SDI. The card supports RGB 4:4:4, YCbCr 4:4:4/4:2:2 color sampling at 10/12-bit depth, up to 8-channel SDI embedded audio, ultra-low latency (64 video lines) and hardware 100ns high-resolution timestamping. Multiple cards can coexist in one system, with an on-board 16-position rotary switch for card-number assignment, making it suitable for 4K live production, broadcast switching, multi-source recording and medical imaging.
